I don't see any used Pentax lenses listed on KEH's
site. Do you folks see any lenses listed? Where did
they all go???

There are no used AF primes but everything else looks normal.
21 used Pentax MF primes, lots of MF zooms, lots of AF zooms, etc.
Can't imagine why you can't see them.

They haven't had any used primes in stock for quite some time. They're
apparently in high demand, probably due to all the digital slr users
who have moved up from PS cameras.

Nobody's going to corner the market if they've paid
KEH prices to acquire the goods! (unless their market
strategy is we lose money on every item, but we make
up for it in volume...)

Given current ebay pricess, I wouldn't be surprised if one could make a profit
on some items. I always found KEH quite reasonable.

Re: KEH Inventory???

2005-03-02 Thread Peter J. Alling
Well they have no autofocus primes in stock, they do have about 20 used
manual focus lenses in stock including a few of the more desirable
items. Not long ago they had a A 15mm in stock which I was quite
desirous of but while the spirit was willing but the wallet was weak.
So someone else grabbed after a couple of days. The really hot stuff
doesn't stay in stock for long, but they have a couple of M 120mm's a K
30mm and a couple of M 100mm's. We can debate the 120's though I do
like mine, but the M 100 is really quite good and the 30 is rare
collectible and very good. They also have an A200/4 for those who crave
convenience but don't need autofocus on their *ist-D[s] to be fulfilled.
