Yeah, well I can overlook the computer stuff, but they better leave my
coffee maker alone.

Subject: OT: Strange things going on?

Yesterday I found both of my computers shut down. Both UPS had shut off.

The only thing I can think of that would cause that to happen is if the
power went off, but that should have caused the UPS alarms to sound. I
know that they did not, because the alarms have to be manually reset.
The beeping gets on my nerves and it's an aggravation to get down on my
hands and knees & crawl under the desk to reset them.

Plus, the clocks on two microwaves, a stove, two clock radios & two
light timers were still showing the correct time (except for the stove
that I still have on DST - I'll change it as soon as I can remember
where I put the F*g instructions). Point is, all of them have to be
reset if there is a power outage and none of them had to be reset.

So, what would cause the two UPS to shut down?

Then, just now I went into the kitchen to get a cup of coffee, and the
coffee maker had not worked. It was unplugged. I know it was plugged in
yesterday when I used it. And I didn't unplug it afterwards.

I hope I'm not going mad. It'd take too much effort to lock myself in
the attic.
