Beautiful scene. I like how you framed that waterfall and used
foreground elements to convey the sense of it being hidden. Very nice!

Yes, there are a number of nice waterfalls on the way to Hana, then
even nicer ones in the National Park, that can be reached by walking
30-45 minutes. Some of the best ones require a much longer hike,
however, but unfortunately I didn't have the time for that this time
around.

(If others don't think that well they can just complain as usual :-P ).

I like it.

Other than the distorted trees at the edges, it's not immediately
obvious that it's a fisheye foto (I guess that's the point, eh?).

I really like the exposure - nice greys. I like the composition, I
like the mist or whatever, partially obscuring the trees in the
background - they just sort of fade away oh so nicely.

A really cool shot! And, it doesn't look like the water should be
pouring out somewhere at the edges of the frame... vbg

thanks,
frank

Just wanted to throw in that it's easier to mask the fisheye-ness of
longer focal length fisheyes than shorter focal length ones. That is,
it'll be easier to take a normal looking shot with a 16mm FE than an
8mm FE.

As far as I know. That's what makes it harder to get a normal
looking photo from them. You have to crop out a _tiny_ portion of the
center of the shot. :-)
