No, no - that Pentax will bring the used camera market back to life, and is
probably responsible for the increase in hits on Mark's Pentax manuals site.

I'll let you know what I think when I get the test pics back later this
week. I've only shot one roll through the camera, and I haven't seen it
yet. My previous post was just waxing poetic on something I know nothing
about. :)

I don't mean to sound cynical here, but has anyone ever submitted a
picture taken with the 110 to the PUG Gallery? Seems to me that 'portrait'
might be the ideal theme to put one's money where one's camera is :-)

Undoubtedly. The perfect hybrid of form and function, toy and tool...
street photography is incomplete without at least one in your arsenal!
Why mess around with large Leicas and cumbersome Contaxes when you can
experience perfection in miniature with the Pentax 110 system? Treat
yourself to the 18mm panfocal lens that exploits the hyperfocal principle,
or rely on the inobtrusively small 18/2.8 or 24/2.8. Attempt to resist
the lure of the zoom... of the teleconverter... of the pizazz of the
picture-perfect portable pocket pipsqueak! Discerning connoisseurs know
that the Pentax 110 is the choice of stealthy urban photographers
everywhere. How many times have you seen street photographers using
Pentax 110's? Once? Never? Exactly! You, too, can learn "How Not to be
Seen" by embracing the wave of the future and joining the Little
Brotherhood... today! Make cheques or money orders payable to "Chris
