John, I ordered 3 of these from Pentax on November 29th but they are still on back order from Japan with no ETA. The price I was quoted was $4.23 each plus $5 for shipping. I thought that these would be especially useful when shooting in cold weather as I can keep extras inside my jacket to stay warm and swap them quickly as necessary.

I'm considering picking up a couple, for two reasons; it will make battery changing in the field almost instant, and it keeps the batteries organised (although I've got a couple of nice small boxes that hold 12 AA cells).
