Hey, Bob pretty good work for a first attempt. The first pic reminds
me a lot of Jeff Goldblume.

Over the last few weeks I've been trying out my E-1 with the
Cameraquest adapter for Carl Zeiss lenses. Today I tried it with the
CZ 100/2.8 Makro lens. The crop factor makes this equivalent to 200mm
 in 135 format.

I found one or two (who can tell?) cooperative flies. The first,
second and fourth pictures are enlargements to show detail. The 3rd
 picture is the whole frame.

Some of you may find these pictures as disgusting as I do:

Thanks. Is it that obvious that it was my first attempt? It was really
quite difficult to focus on them - I shot at f/2.8 mostly, but also
some at f/8, which was hard work because the adapter requires manual
aperture opening and closing.

Those seem to be extremely good results. On a side note, since
Christian is already for the Birds, I think we should dub thee Lord Bob

We must first see the picture in nature and be struck by its beauty

Har! Actually, this one I find repulsive:

It's dead. Who would photograph a dead fly's head ? I should be pitied.
