I haven't used it, Jack, but as to your expectation of image quality...be guided by the price. Joe -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List PDML@pdml.net http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
Re: FA J 75-300
Mmm DA 50-200 is very affordable and stills outputs very nice shots. It would give accesto 300mm as well (more or less 450mm on a 35mm camera). So if quality is useable it might be quite interesting to a lot of people incliding me who will probably never even be able to pay for a 300/4. I'd bequite curious if soimeone can try it on a K10D. -- Thibault Massart aka Thibouille -- K10D,Z1,SuperA,KX,MX, P30t and KR-10x ;) ... 2007/6/12, Joseph Tainter [EMAIL PROTECTED]: I haven't used it, Jack, but as to your expectation of image quality...be guided by the price. Re: FA J 75-300
The price is the only reason for my hesitancy. My fear is that it has Micky Mouse construction, is loose, noisy AF and has plastic filter threads.
