Re: FS Fryday

2006-07-29 Thread Collin R Brendemuehl
Price is being lowered to $520 because, (2 reasons)
1. When in Program or any other "A" mode it acts like an "M" lens.
I don't know why. Haven't really figured it out yet. But either way,
2. Won't quite focus to infinity. This should be a minor adjustment,
but I just don't want to take the time.

AF and colors are fine.

I'll vouch for the Vivitar 200/3.5; I paid at least that much for the
single lens, and thought it a good value.

At large apertures, it shows purple fringing on my K10D, but when
stopped down it performs quite decently. I use it for trap-focus
shooting of birds, since you need a MF lens to do that on the K10D (an
AF lens with an AF/MF switch won't work). Here are a couple of
examples:

Not as much as old Pentax, but easily as sought after as old Nikon & Canon.

Hi Darren -

The best I can come up with for shipping is $12.75 for a medium USPS
flat rat box. So how about $18? Since it is a flat rate box I could fit
some other things into the bag as well - the Fujica camera would fit
nicely or the A 80-200

Dan - I ordered 10 of them to sell directly  - you needed to read the

I did that because they had a super sale on authors /creators prices
and since it is a slim volume and small
better to get them from me than my new "store"  I put the key elements
on the smugmug page just to show..

If you would like -one-, just paypal me $12.50  . that will save you
money.  If you were for any reason buying more
calendars or books from the createphotocalendars store then it doesnt
matter so much..  It's all about saving friends
shipping cost... and keep you away from the temptation of looking at
every page of the book in the store, which includes the answers :-)
