Thanks, Matthew! I find focus peaking to be a very useful tool in some situations - really came to appreciate it with the K-01. It is not something that I could use in anything but a slow paced shooting setup (like the forest floor shots) but then it is invaluable because you get a really clear sense of what is in focus. I'd add to Bill's comment - with focus peaking the sharp edges are highlighted. You can easily compose so the plane of focus is where ever you want. The ONLY way I could get consistent AF in the studio with the thing was LiveView combined with face detection.
