Re: K-70 repair recommendations?
Peter, Thanks. I came upon this site too. There are some positive comments on DPReview, but I have more confidence in reviews from a group of familiar people. Re: K-70 repair recommendations?
Apparently it isn't a difficult repair. The problem is finding a solenoid that won't fail. Apparently Pentax changed suppliers and the new units are failure prone. My understanding is the new ones are one colour, I recall white, and the old ones are green, though I might have it backwards. If I'm not mistaken, even one from as far back as a Super Program will fit. bill On Thu., Dec. 2, 2021, 2:40 p.m. Rick Womer, wrote: > As discussed in this space, my wife’s K-70 has the dreaded aperture block > problem. > > Can anyone suggest a better (i.e. quicker and less expensive) repair > outfit than Precision? > > Rick > -- > %(real_name)s Pentax-Discuss Mail List > To unsubscribe send an email to pdml-le...@pdml.net > to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and > follow the directions. -- %(real_name)s Pentax-Discuss Mail List To unsubscribe send an email to pdml-le...@pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
