Don't worry, you'll get used to it in a hurry. I'm not the King of
Adapting to Things, and I've only had this camera since March. Other
than the lack of the second control wheel, I'd say that the interface
is superior in every way to the D. I'm completely sold.

Your may right, but it's not what I used to, so it would more than
likley slow me down :-)

Should be ráfaga and yes, it is the buffer capacity
(actually ráfaga means 'burst').

I think you won't "get used to it" as much as "realize how much faster and
easier it is to use".

Compare --

-You never have to move the camera so that you can see the top

-You never have to change your hand positions

-You use one control to perform the operation instead of two

-You barely even need to move your head

Though looking at the menu interface, I'm crossing my toe's, fingers,
arms etc.. that the K10D has dedicated buttons/dials for white balance
& drive mode as per the *istD. But I guess I could get used to it if
worse came to worst :-)

Very interesting, thanks for posting it.

Though looking at the menu interface, I'm crossing my toe's, fingers,
arms etc.. that the K10D has dedicated buttons/dials for white balance
& drive mode as per the *istD. But I guess I could get used to it if
worse came to worst :-)

"Jefaga(?) 5JPEG, 3RAW" looks suspiciously like the buffer capacity.

Thanks, Jaume.
