I think you won't "get used to it" as much as "realize how much faster and easier it is to use". Very interesting, thanks for posting it.
Though looking at the menu interface, I'm crossing my toe's, fingers,
arms etc.. that the K10D has dedicated buttons/dials for white balance
& drive mode as per the *istD. But I guess I could get used to it if
worse came to worst :-)
