Putting a filter on usually makes it worse, in my experience. I suspect it's
because the air between the front element and the rear of the filter is
slightly warmer than the air outside, so the moisture condenses on the front
of the filter.

I would suspect that it contains less plastic and hence takes longer
to adapt to temperature changes (maybe also more glass where it hurts,
i.e. front element?) so there is probably very little you can do about
it :(

My worst one for this is the FA100 macro; it's an aluminium brick, and
has a lot of thermal inertia.  I suspect traditional metal lens bodies
in general are worse than the polycarbonate ones.

Gravitational lenses don't have these issues but they're insanely hard
to carry and keep shape around... and I haven't seen any K mount black
holes yet
