Well, I think the metal and neon look is designed more to draw
attention as people drive by than to be artistic or architecturally
significant. I was aiming more for a point of contrast to the
abandoned Whitehouse Diner that for any intrinsic merit in the
structure or the image. I will, however, give some thought to an
angle or perspective that will serve that purpose and still have more
stand-alone interest in its own right as an image.

I was perhaps a bit harsh in my critisism.

Another in my series of Jersey diners. This is one that is still very
active and popular. In fact, my Rotary Club meets there on Wednesday
mornings.

Comments, criticisms and suggestions are welcome

Dan, in no one's imagination could that be construed as a diner.
That's what a diner would look like if McDonalds and IHOP joinded forces
with the Martians to make a place that served Soylent Green.
I'm sure that a realtor would love this picture, but sadly, as a work of art
it has all the charms of a 3 day dead cat.

Sorry.

Looks like a nice diner to me. They don't have to be run-down shacks.

Re: Loukas' Diner

You have a point there. Out-of-towners are much more likely to stop
at this diner than the run-down ones to the west or even cute little
Genie's Wienies. But the way, the name of this establishment is
Loukas' Last American Diner.
