I really like that photo further down because it shows such a thin line of lightning on the left. Seems very unusual, he must have just caught the beginning or end of it. I heard about this on the radio this morning What is most striking to me (pun intended) is that what is interesting about it is simply the oddness of the event ... the fact that - as a photo, it's _not_ so interesting. Lucky spot, great timing (I question that it is more than coincidental, lightning happens faster than human reaction) but the image is to me spectacular only because of the fact depicted, not because it is overly pretty imo.
