Worked fine. I was recently trying to copy a different web page table into Excel, and found that I got different results from different web browsers. (I'm dismayed to report that copying from IE 8 did what I wanted, and Firefox did not.) I still have it on the laptop but would like to use a more > up tempo program.:-) I got it to work (using Windows 7, Firefox, Excel 2007): Highlight the table in Firefox and copy to clipboard (Ctrl-C) Select cell A1 in Excel Click the drop-down arrow below "Paste" in the "Home" tab of Excel's ribbon Select "Paste special..." Select "Text", OK It pasted as 14 rows, 4 columns, instead of the single line like regular paste. I don't know how closely this will correspond to Excel on the Mac. > > Here is a link to a route so you can see what i am talking about: > http://www.schoolbuscity.com/Public/default.aspx?load=customPublicStopResults&SchoolCode=G901&SchoolName=ARTS+UNIONVILLE+ANGUS+GLEN+CC > > Dave > > -- > Documenting Life in Rural Ontario. > www.caughtinmotion.com > http://brooksinthecountry.blogspot.com/ > York Region, Ontario, Canada > > -- > PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List > PDML@pdml.net > http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net > to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow > the directions. > -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List PDML@pdml.net http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
