The one in an A50/1.2 (which I just happen to have in bits at the moment) is
about 2mm in diameter (it's quite difficult to get this one out of its
 recess)

I just found a magnet strong enough to extract the BB and it's 1.98mm diameter
according to my vernier calipers.

So it's a 2mm bearing with a 1% tolerance :)

They're located not too far from me, and I once took a drive up to their
place rather than get some items shipped. Their location at the time was
in a small building in a far corner of a small, local airport ... really
out in the middle of nowhere. Upon entering the place I was pleasantly
greeted, got great service and attention (they usually don't do on site
sales), and a tour of the place. While very organized it nevertheless
looked like someone's big basement filled with stuff accumulated over
decades. Great place!

That's the beauty of the PDML, all you have to do is ask, many of us have
been
 dealing with Micro-Tools for years.
