Yeah, and I remember when light pollution wasn't so bad you couldn't see the stars at all if you lived in a city or even a small town. Nice photo. The Orion image makes me jealous, as the light pollution around a major city where I am makes it almost impossible. Next time I'm in rural Scotland I'll have a go, assuming it doesn't do the usual heaving down with rain. I was also pleased to see that the Orion Nebula is actually recognizable even with the 77, I'm going to have to try with a longer lens. If someone has the 150-450, I'd love to see what you could with that on the Orion Nebula and Andromeda.
