I like this picture; it makes me wonder where the path leads, and I
really like the textures. I've got some green tea with jasmine
brewing if you want some btw.

Point taken but don't knock yourself - your bird pix exemplify an
'artist's eye'.

Wow, that took all of 9 seconds to display. ]'-)

It's a wonderful shot ... even if it *is* a cormorant.

Thanks doubly, Christian and Cotty!

One of the things I love about photography is that we all see
different things even in the same subject matter. I've only the
barest notion of what to do about shooting birds and wildlife. I look
at those photos and am often delighted by that which is different
from my own work, 'refreshing' to the eye as you put it, even if the
subject matter isn't something that I spend a lot of time pursuing
myself.

best,
Godfrey

Show me a brick path and I won't see a picture where Godders will. Give
me a bird on a perch and I'll give you something. My point was that he
has such a different style to mine, and after looking at tons of my and

I like it, G. Nicely seen and composed. Definitely not something I
would have ever seen if I was out walking with my camera. That's what I

I rather like it. A little different for you, but very nice.
