If you can't find a cigar box, use a tortoise shell. That's what they use in 
Morocco. I bought one when I was a kid.

Very cool, Darren! There's a guy among my Facebook friends who's been 
working on a cigar box guitar and it's been fascinating to watch as it 
progresses.


I'm not sure I'll ever tackle it myself, but it does look like a fun, 
gratifying pursuit. Enjoy!
