Nice Walt, I'm with you, even with vapor trails and less than
desirable scenery in the foreground when I see a nice sunset I will
make a shot, I might not show it to anyone else but it's still nice to
review.

2013-02-27 Thread Walt

Thanks, Frank.

I'm in an ongoing battle of attrition with power lines, myself.
Sometimes, they win.

Telle est la vie dans l'Amérique rurale. (According to Google.)

Glad you liked the photo. I just couldn't let the power lines cheat me
out of the shot. :)

Okay, seriously, lovely. So lovely that I don't even mind the
electrical lines. Can't do much about 'em anyway, but the beauty of
the sky and the colours allow me to tolerate them.

Lovely photo.

cheers,
frank

I forgot to knock down the ISO after taking a few shots inside, but I can't
complain about the results too much.

2013-02-27 Thread Walt

Thank you, Dan!

This one was an unexpected benefit of the new security cameras that were
just installed where I work. I get a pretty decent view of the western
skyline on the monitor, and I just happened to look up and notice the
warm light.
