No one said you didn't know how. You kept saying you didn't see it. The offer to show you the shot with/without the pole was based on that. Sometimes when someone sees two images together the difference becomes noticeable. No need to get defensive. There is a little pattern of color there of red's and yellows I like. I tried to make it just look like there was snow clinging to the pole. I would never completely remove something that was actually there all the time.. on principle. For me, I was just using the shot to say "Hey guys, look at all that snow in my 'hood! - and look at that jerk riding a bicycle in it. I saw the guy on the bike just a couple of secs before I snapped... the woman wasn't part of the plan - but when I saw it I liked the relationship of forms. although I did hold the camera up to my face, I couldnt see what I was doing through the view finder and I had an armful of groceries... Anyway, Where is Doug :) Haven't had a chance to review anything else I took, really - I have one I took from my window but I'm not pleased with it. But the point is, if it is a street shot, I'm not going to mess with it in that fashion in photoshop - I don't care if you want to show us or me what you did to get rid of the pole totally - but I didn't _not_ do it because I didn't know how. ann > > > [Original Message] > > From: Ann Sanfedele <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > > To: > > Date: 2/13/2006 12:49:38 PM > > Subject: Re: PESO: around the corner (revised for doug:) ) > > > > Shel Belinkoff wrote: > > > > > > Not really ... Re: PESO: around the corner (revised for doug:) )
No, it is the pole and the sign I see. I put the pic in Photoshop and blew it up 200% to be sure. I then went and removed the pole and sign just to see how difficult it would be. The pole and the sign are quite noticeable to me. If you'd like a copy of what I did so you can see for yourself, just say the word. The removal technique was quite simple, mostly using the clone stamp, although with a few extra fillips to make the removal more precise as I can be rather clumsy sometimes if I'm not careful. Why didn't you want to remove it completely?
