And coming from joisey, I know what you mean.

I've been going there for years and they have become the bogey for NYC 
deli's in this area, supplying a lot of area shops with their cold cuts, 
breads & cheese.

Is that Zingerman's Roadhouse?  If so, I was there maybe  fifteen years ago
... don't recall much about the food, but it was recommended by a couple of
friends who lived in South Dakota at the time.  I recall them trying to put
food out like a NYC deli - didn't quite cut it for a New Yawka, but not too
bad considering.  Certainly didn't have the CGH, so you're on!

Shel if you ever get to Ann Arbor Michigan, I'll gladly buy you a CBH 
breakfast @ a place called Zingermans.
IMHO the best CBH I've ever tasted!

Whoa!  That's great.  Can't believe I missed it - maybe it's a recent
addition.  I love a good corned beef hash, and in all my years of eating
breakfast out, I've only found two places with acceptable CBH, one of which
was in a little cafe about 300 miles south of me and the other in a small
restaurant up in Oregon.  I'm gonna have to give this one a try next time I
visit.  Thanks

BTW, Bette's has GREAT chorizo, but, imo, the portion is too small ...
gotta order two 

Reminds me of a joke:  Waiter asks the diner, "How'd you find your steak

Seems to me the inclusion of an apostrophe in it was the killer.
