Re: PESO - Giant Handlebars

Thanks for your thoughts, Don.

I have been lucky. While there is still some pain, its much better now. Things
are progressing well. At first I was worried about surgery and that wasn't
needed, now I am in a walking cast right on schedule. The orthopaedic surgeon
seems quite satisfied with my progress and with any luck I might not even need
physio.

All things considered I am quite lucky.

Thanks for the thoughts on the photo and thanks to Dan, Bruce and everyone who
looked.

Cheers,
frank

I want to jump on grab those bars & take off & I'd guess you would too.
I feel your pain Frank. Two summer ago I spent time in a wheelchair
moved to a walker which the therapist said I would need the rest of my
life and eventually I made it to a cane. Now I walk w/o any aids and
hike in the woods every week. Boy do I appreciate my freedom now. Hang
in there your release is around the corner.

I am now in a walking cast (one of those plastic air casts) and although I
still need crutches for longer walks outside the house it's nice to be able to
hobble about indoors with free hands.

This was taken a week ago when I was still in the non-walking cast and falls in the
category "things that won't move as I photograph them."

Despite the title these are normal sized handlebars; Giant is the brand of bike.

Sometimes I need to shoot a sharp one just to prove that I can:

;-)

Hope you enjoy. Comments welcome.

Intriguing details in this one, Frank. Nice sharpie. :-)

I bet the great spring air this weekend was making you itchy to ride
again. How long until you can, do you think?
