He did must have been into doing it the hard way.  Any chemistry lab 
worth it's salt will have 100% Alcohol among it's reagents.  It's much 
easier to steal it...

Actually, it's incorrect. I've opened it up and found plenty of wires. 

Unfortunately, I'm still snowed in and my Mac can't run the BlackBerry desktop 
software which is needed to change the signature line.  Another glorious 
mystery of technology.

Another reason to get an iPhone...

When I look at buying a piece of hardware, if they don't have software  
that will run on a Mac (without Windows piggybacking) I let the  
proprietor know that's why I will not purchase it. It wouldn't take a  
single man-day for Blackberry to have the software re-compiled for the  
Mac in OS-X. Lazy buggers.

Except that on my rural area the phone part of iPhone isn't accurate either. 
Actually, RIM has a nice Mac desktop for my phone but you need to be running at 
least Leopard and this old Macbook I inherited from my daughter is only running 
Tiger. I'm also too cheap to pay the money for the upgrade.
