That one is from awhile back, what with the snow, which I believe only
intensifies the "why the pluperfect were you walking down Augusta at
midnight (in the snow)?" question this photograph evokes. Intense and
enduring grudge against the Toronto tourist industry? Perverse desire
for a complex epitaph? Implausibly lost?

I think it was taken about 6 or 8 weeks ago.

Car? What car?

;-)

I was a pedestrian that evening as I am most times when I'm shooting.

That area (and pretty much everywhere else I shoot at night) is
actually quite safe, even late at night. Most of our worst crime
areas are farther from downtown, in areas of very high density housing
(Jane/Finch, for you locals). The worse downtown areas
(Dundas/Sherbourne is likely the worst right now) I wouldn't raise the
camera to my face, especially at night.

Thanks for the comments, and thanks to everyone else who looked and liked.

frank

Good shot Frank. A great TO street scene for sure.

Jack, Frank is carless, but not careless.:-)

I know this will go way OT, BUT, only criminals can get and carry hand
guns up here. Franks best defence is a good bike and legs of steel to
pedal.
