For me, the new one has much more drama and suits the title better. The 1st one doesn't suggest imminent storm to me, but rather just overcast. Is good, Frank! Interesting and unconventional shot - I like both but this second one more. The darker skies in the upper left somewhate balance the dark patch of trees in the lower right, and there is less of a sense of being pulled out of the frame.
