Well, actually, I meant the advancing fog  wave. :-) Which is a bit visible 
behind the houses. I think it works well  enough, Rick, and I have other shots 
of other things.

You're going to hate me but I kind of like the sky in wavebold, the 
forground in wavemild and the houses in wavecolor...

Well, the  front was in deep shadow, and I've noticed when one uses 
Highlight/Shadow on  color areas in deep shadow they do tend to blue. 
Essentially there 
was not a lot  of color info. in that area. But point taken. Thanks for

Marnie,

I like the Bold version best of the BWs. ;-)

With the risk of adding to confusion, I think the colour shot can have
even more punch if you play a little with a hue/saturation layer.

Try tweaking each of the colours separately. To _really_ bring out the
blue in the sky, you could increase saturation in the blues and tweak
the hue of the cyans towards blue. Adding some yellow and a slight bit
of red could be nice too. If you don't have the sky in a separate
layer in the colour version, be careful about the grass in the
foreground.

There is of course a risk of cartoonizing as Wheatfield calls it.
It's a nice shot to start with, and it holds potential for many
different expressions. It depends on what _you_ want with it!

Add another vote for color. Too many pleasing tones there to go BW. If you 
wanted even more impact, you could mask off the sky and then brighten and add 
contrast to the foreground. Not a lot, just a touch.
