No problems with the lightbox view here. As for the photos, I think the second one (#14 in the series, methinks) has rather questionable composition. Well, it's not that much trouble to post the additional link. Just adds clutter. Perhaps it's time to move to a more modern browser, as Jeffrey suggested. The old gang here knows I have Netscape 7.0 and use plain text only for email... it is the perfect tool for me to keep track of things and sort and is especially safe as I never leave email on my web ISP. In short, it is nothing to do with Firefox.. I really would recommend taking a look at Mozilla Thunderbird as an email client to replace Netscape. I don't think Netscape 7.0 has had a security update since 2003. Certainly not since 2008 when AOL pulled the plug on Netscape. Essentially Mozilla took the old Netscape program and split it into separate applications; Firefox for browsing the web & Thunderbird for email. I think Thunderbird should give you the "look & feel" of the old Netscape email client, but with the benefit of security updates. Thunderbird duplicates the look, feel & function of the email portion of the old Netscape program. I was running Netscape 7.2 on this computer in 2007 when I decided to give Firefox/Thunderbird a try on my new Toshiba laptop. That's when I quit using this computer for a while. When I put this computer back into operation in January of this year it still had Netscape 7.2 set up on it. Switching over to Firefox/Thunderbird was fairly easy. The only problem I ran into was I made the mistake of running Windows add/remove programs to uninstall Netscape before installing Firefox/Thunderbird, which slightly complicated importing bookmarks & address books. Fortunately I had not yet emptied the trash folder & the installers were able to retrieve my bookmarks & address books from there. From recent personal experience, I can say it's not any more difficult to set up Thunderbird to send only plain text email than it was to figure out how to make Netscape do so. - No virus found in this message. Thanks for the responses. So far, I haven't gotten any notes that the lightbox view was causing any problems, so I'll likely drop the second URL.
