Background 'glow' is distracting on a nice image.
Take more care to eliminate the stuff at the edges of the poppies.

That 'electric glow' looks like a background you didn't quite darken.
I'm no photoshop expert, but isn't there a way to lasso the flowers themselves
and extinguish the background all together.
