Yup. There was a historical write up on this last year, but i cannot
find the article. No tobacco around these parts.

I could but i would be trespassing. My high school route is around
this lake, i may ask the kids if they know the owner.

I am still planning to get the 55-300, but i fear i may have a leaking
head gasket on the pick up tuck, which would do the obvious to the
lens purchase.:-)
