Thanks, Jens. Your thoughts on future use are great. I hadn't
thought that far ahead yet, but I can see what you mean.

Very cute Bruce.
I would probably have tried to tidy that blanket a smidge but that could
have had disastrous consequences...
Might have taken the photo from a foot or so lower angle as well.

BUT, it's a great grab-shot worthy of a space in the photo collage on any
family's wall.

Exactly my reaction too. Thanks Bruce for posting such a lovely picture!
Your daughter's right arm (and her dummy, I think, stating she's not so much
older than the baby) make the picture.

Ok, I have calibrated the monitor again. It was very slightly off. I
also found that I had put up the original uncorrected photo for the
PAW. I have corrected for white balance and also lightened a bit as
Paul suggested.

So for those who care to see the changed one:
http://www.daytonphoto.com/PAW/reunion2004_105.htm

Don't forget that you may have to refresh so you don't see the old
cached image!

Paul,

Nice to be talking about photography. I'll re-calibrate later tonight
and then take another look at this. I'll certainly take a stab at
your suggestions and see what I think.

Thanks for looking.

Yes, it is a *very* cute moment.
I agree with others' comments regarding the colour, though -- a bit too blue. I
think the contrast could be better. But that's purely a comment on image
quality. As a captured moment: Wonderful.

Thanks, Don.

My monitor has been calibrated with a Spyder and it seems about right.
I am going to re-calibrate tonight as it has been a month or two since
