As someone who quite likes cats, I have to say it looks slightly irritated (in an unanthropomorphic way...) and some people might dislike that. Enough? 8-) mike

OT Re: Very Scary Stuff
Yeah it looks as dizzy as it skates! Didn't look nearly as fast as it was though- and coming round that last or second last turn and seeing that renegade car parked round the pillar was VERY harrowing, especially when a fall would more than likely have taken out my camera, which was padded with not much more than a sweater in my backpack.. The clip was filmed by a mate skating behind, with a Canon ixus v400, pretty nifty thing, films up to 3 minute mini movies.. We were comparing available P&Ss and unfortunately the Optio S4 just does 60sec clips.. oh well.. Re: Very Scary Stuff
Sadly, Ryan - uh, I mean Blitzen, Neither link works for me. Wind resistance? You bet. Pedalling hard into the wind, I can feel the helmet being pushed back on my head. I burn a bit more energy, but one must do what one must do, eh? Gotta get into the Christmas Spirit. I get lots of weird looks and big smiles from pedestrians. And lots of comments in elevators. Plus, the receptionists love it (that's mostly why I do it ). It's really hard to be in a bad mood wearing them... BTW, finished my Christmas shopping today (other than a few stocking stuffers that I might come across). Hooray for me. And it isn't even the last minute yet! cheers, frank - sorry, Dasher "The optimist thinks this is the best of all possible worlds. The pessimist fears it is true." -J. I'm thinking of sending mine in for a CLA sometime. Wind-resistance at high speed :-( http://members.optushome.com.au/skatefree/videos/train.wmv (2.9mb) (It's one thing having to keep adjusting antlers, but try skating with the camera strapped to one hand on gravelly road!)
