with an 16-55 and my 55-300 I'm good to go without too much weight

anyone have one or know where I can buy one and stay under $100?


I have two.  Do you want the MkI (metal bayonet) or the II (allegedly 
better optics but plastic bayonet) at a cost infinitely less than $100? 
 If it makes you feel any better, you can call it a permanent loan, 
like folks do to museums. 8-)  And you don't get a lenshood.

Another difference - the MkI has on the fly manual focus, the Mk II does 
not.  Not really material unless you have the eyes of a Goshawk, of 
which more anon.

AFAIK the II has it, but the DA-L has no QS and platic bayonet.

KEH.com usually has a few in the 65-100 dollar range, currently the 
only  one they have is $114.00, but I expect that price will fall. if 
you can wait.
