I see what you mean about the poles and over compensating... I think I did the second, 1st then went back to the first one as a better choice. And Tim pointed out "visual junk" that I couldnt even see in the lower left . hmmm.. I like Paul's reason for liking the first better. I almost always go for straight verticals, but in this case, I prefer the first shot. A lot more information there, and the tilt tends to complement the image a bit. The second is immensely more pleasing to my eye. I would vote for the 3rd one. It would be similar to the 2nd, but not over-tilted. While I am not a stickler to having all photos leveled, a bunch of Pisa poles are disturbing my eye. So, the 2nd one is more pleasing, but I think you rotated it just a bit too much. I would back off just a notch.
