When people say that you should have more buildings you can always to to go the
opposite way. Remove more of the buildings, maybe only leaving the top of one
of them, and the picture may work differently.

I think the cropping in the picture is too much in between. Between not
enough and too much. I guess I´m a minimalist, so you know which way I
would go :-)

A gorgeous sky, but I tend to agree with Ken. I thought at first that the photo

gives one pause is a plus. I'm a bit torn on this one, but it's definitely a

I wonder how it would work cropping off more of the skyscrapers, so that just
the tops of the shorter ones were visible. That way it would be a shot of the
sky, with some buildings as accents, rather than the two sort of vying for
attention.

Thanks, Bob, Steve, Jack. I used the sunny 16 rule with ISO shutter at
80. It looked ok on the LCD, but in post processing I increased had to
increase exposure . There's something about the DA 21mm that does a lovely
job on blue skies--in my view anyway. This shot was actually my 3rd
composition--the others are slightly different--but I thought in this one
the cloud best complemented the skyscrapers. Cheers, Christine
