Of the top of my head, the only way I know is to put each letter on 
it's own layer, then shift and rotate the layers around until you have 
what you want.
Not bad if all you are doing is "one cent", not so nice if it's "in 
God we trust, all others pay cash"

hehe
actually - I started futzing around and figured it out -- not that I 
remember what I did now...
not sure how I did it... but I DID very cleverly saved the line I wanted 
in that curled up shape
and layers so I can just re type and get the same orientation for other 
things (I think).
