Thanks, Jostein. There's something very North American about it, for sure. They 
are a fast disappearing breed, though.

I don't know the place and all it implies, Frank; but after two weeks on the 
road around the West, your photo made me smile nonetheless. To me it seems 
you've captured something very essential about American (and Canadian?) 
signage.
