RE: Second hand Pentax gear in Oz?
Sorry John, can't remember the name of the shop, and can't find it in my archived mail. Possibly Universal Audio/Video in Pacific Place, in Admiralty, if that's any help. About the only dealer in HK who sells the full Pentax range, my son tells me. RE: Second hand Pentax gear in Oz?
Hi Rob: I'm afraid round here second-hand Pentax is as rare as hen's teeth - and if you find anything good in the Trading Post we'd probably be competing for it! The CM Weekend Shopper usually has one or two Pentax bits, but never very much. I check around the local photo stores occasionally, and Photo Continental; and Ted's both seem to have given up selling second-hand gear, so I'm afraid it's most likely to be Cash Converters - and I don't think they'd offer a guarantee! Incidentally, I've recently imported both an MZ-S and a 28-105 from Hong Kong, where my son lives. It's well worth doing, the cost is about 2/3rds the Ozzie price. I don't ever seem to see them in the Trading Post (I live on the Gold Coast, so it's the edition for SEQ). Canon and Nikon, yes, but not Pentax unless it's someone selling a camera with one or more lenses Anyone have any suggestions? I'd like to find some more primes, and second hand would be more affordable *if* I can actually find any! Rob - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List. I presumed that Rob was talking about the Australian version. Rob Rob Geraghty [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://wordweb.com - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List. I suspect (slap me if I'm wrong Mike) that Mike was referring to his book-marked eBay search pre-loaded with pentax lens m as the search criterion?
