Re: September PUG - Now Up! Enjoy!!
A varied and quite interesting gallery, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Another wonderful job, Brian! Thanks again for all your efforts on behalf of the PDML> My favorite is Dario's "Essence." That is a very strong composition that really grabs the viewer's attention and has a mesmerizing impact. I am glad I read the comments, as otherwise I wouldn't have a clue as to what that was beneath her lips. Not that knowing what is is is essential to enjoying the compelling image. I also like Ann's "Straight Ahead," although I found it surprisingly colorful compared to most of her urban images. The colors, the curves and the composition all grab and hold my attention, and the gentleman with the backpack is perfectly positioned to complete the scene. Wow! What a strong gallery! I'm scrolling through it, thinking, "Ann's is wonderful, I'll give her an extra nod." "Okay, Dario's too, I'll give Ann and Dario special mentions." And so on until I realized that almost every photo deserved recognition. And by the end I realized that one photo stands head and shoulders and glasses and moustache above the rest! Well it is a nice gallery! I just looked at the photos... even as parody that gobbly-gook prose was too much to bear or bare, for that matter. Anyway, the type was too small. Your's and Marco's were my faves As to October's gallery and dragging our feet - while it is true we can't in terms of shooting something for it, we can still dally while deciding which photo to use :-) ann On 9/4/2014 19:08, Brian Walters wrote: G'day all I think this theme probably goes under the heading of it seemed like a good idea at the time.
