As I said, I may have overdone it and it wasn't intended as a final version - I just wanted, by a WOW picture rather than in words, suggest one direction to go. Frank's own rework went in the same direction, although I decided to keep a bit more of the pavement, and crop the top a bit tighter. Anyway, I like pictures like this - a person, in this case a pretty girl, obviously very content at the shooting moment, offering us a general human message of roughly It's cool. I'm cool. Hey, no, I like this. It's fun, first of all to see what PS can do, and second of all to see everyone's suggestions for cropping (since I don't think I did a particularly good job of cropping in the viewfinder). I really like how the soft shadow works here, Simon. Of course, the purist in me screams out, That's dishonest, but the other side of me says, Well, it looks pretty cool, though. vbg A totally different look in that crop, but you can see her pretty face much better.
