WOW 4-29-07
http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=5907100 Resurrecting the WOW for a moment.:-). I converted this shot from last weekend to BW using the Fotofusion red filter(the ones P. Alling uses). Itt seems a bit flat to me, specially the face looking flat, so i tried adjusting the curves in R, G, B, modes, but when i do, i would get the actual colour adjusting, not the BW version of the colour. Anyone steer me into the correct way to do that. I'm sure its something i missed. I downloaded the image - it is still in RGB. Either convert to LAB and adjust the curve in the L (luminosity) channel only, then re-convert to RGB, or (what will be as good as the R, G B channels are presently identical or almost so) convert to Greyscale first and then adjust your curve. I did that and can post the adjusted image and curve or email them. Maris David J Brooks wrote: http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=5907100 Resurrecting the WOW for a moment.:-). Re: WOW 4-29-07
Can you post the curve at least. I thought the filter might do the conversion, never thought to look, but i quess not. My other problem is printing it. On the 2400, its a bit darker than the monitor, and its calibrated. I have PS set to colour manage. Should i be doing it differently for BW Dave On 4/29/07, Maris V.
