I've stumbled across a few other users the last few years as a Rank (and, btw, growing Ranker --- Mother Superior won't meet with me unless I'm hosed off by the Fire Department with Raid ----- And I have "formative" observations:
Olympus, by an large, are "kinder gentler better" photographers. Nikon varies all over the road map. Canon EOS folks are clueless at the zoo. Most of them put their bayonet lens hoods on BACKWARDS in my local. I kid you not. Minolta: Is that a pair of binoculars? Digital folks: I love to watch folks at the zoo with about an f8-11 zoom hold the damn thing at arm's length to shoot. Pentaxians: Most of them I've met fall into three catagories: My wife, who does VERY VERY WELL, Photography Teachers Who Feel Obligated To Own Only A K1000, and folks (I suspect) like y'all, in dim misty bars sucking down expensive liquor that's older than any living human being.
