Re: Yesterday At Local Preserve

2018-02-16 Thread Jack Davis
I just took another look at the "washed out" eagle sky. That is
exactly the sky I recall and still
have no urge to darken it. Bluebird
sky is often nice and I could have
darkened this one obviously, but
I actually like the contrast of the
Eagle against the sky.
Am grateful for any comments
you offer, Ann and thank you for
them. :-)

Yep. Darkening the sky would be good. It would actually bring it closer to what
the eye might see. Just good post processing.

Re: Yesterday At Local Preserve

2018-02-15 Thread ann sanfedele
I like them both.. but the light is odd in the eagle shot and I think it
would improve with some more

saturation, or sliding the hue around -  or convert to BW...

Don't know when I've ever been around snow geese and been able to
isolate only two in a shot... Did these guys get lost?

anyway, nice

2018-02-15 Thread Alan C

Still having to find your posts in the Archives.

Plenty detail in both. The goose shot is quite exceptional.

Perhaps you could try using bait to get the Baldie even closer?

Years ago, when I was fishing with my Old Man down in the Transkei, a Fish
Eagle stole some of our bait.
