Hi Gary I've had no problems for over a week, however Sympatico did have problems with their proxy server a while back and there were a whole lot of angry Canucks in theToronto area. I've been in several times and made bids but anyone noticed this: Ever since we changed the clock to summertime the search results are 1 hour out. i.e. an item showing 5 minutes left on the search results screen has actually got 1 hour and 5 minutes to run when you go to the auction page. (maybe another UK PDML-er can confirm this?) Because they don't show in search screen when ended it now doesn't show anything with less than an hour to run. Makes last minute bidding impossible. According to Ebay's announcement board, they are having problems from a bug in Microsoft's Visual C++. Apparently no one at Microsoft thought to program the language to recognize the switch to daylight savings time. It may be the attempt to fix this that is causing the access problems. The only problem I have with the site is that I keep spending too much money there. No problems logging on, however. In fact, I just came from here. An ME went for $25 on buy it now.
