Shel Sorry, but... the DS shares this place with several cameras, including some pointshoots. Also, it's direct competitors (the 350D and the D70) received the Golden award. As a side bar. My daughter took her istD with her last weekend to a friends cottage for the Labour Day weekend. She played with it for a while and really liked it. She might dump her rebel.
