2012-06-30 Thread Igor Roshchin

Thanks to all who have looked and special thanks to those who commented
on and off list.
I am glad this set caused some positive emotions.

As for the pair, - I think I might be leaning toward the second one,
finally.

I had a short conference trip to Banff earlier this month.
Despite the weather not being at its best (drizzle or snow, with low
clouds [*]), and me not having proper clothes for that, I managed to
find some terrific views and even to take some photos..

I am not sure which shot is better of these two:
 http://42graphy.org/galleries/banff-2012/_IR37060.html
 http://42graphy.org/galleries/banff-2012/_IR37160.html
I've been told that the color of the water is due to its purity, as it
 comes from the melted snow.

A few photos from the same trip but with different subjects.

This shot has some nerdy humor in it:

Nice collection of pretty landscapes.
I like the second shot better than the first of the pair.
The wispy clouds are emphasized versus the evergreen branches covering the sky.

Glad you told me about the purity, I'd have thought the color was due to
the Canadian Government enhancing the lake with Cyan aniline dye.

The second is more dramatic, the first is a bit better balanced. I like
