with blurb, matte or lustre paper?
I've got no idea what they mean by lustre. Anybody know what the differences are? Which is better? -- Larry Colen l...@red4est.com sent from i4est -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List PDML@pdml.net http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
Re: with blurb, matte or lustre paper?
I think it is like pearl (sort of a shiny matte, like Agfa paper from 30 years ago). Jeffery On Nov 30, 2010, at 6:32 PM, Larry Colen wrote: I've got no idea what they mean by lustre. Re: with blurb, matte or lustre paper?
That's a tough question. Matte and lustre are very close, in fact I've always kind of considered the terms interchangeable. Re: with blurb, matte or lustre paper?
Lustre paper is shinier than matte. It's close to semi-gloss, perhaps just a hair duller. Matte has no shine. Paul On Nov 30, 2010, at 7:40 PM, Nick David Wright wrote: That's a tough question. RE: with blurb, matte or lustre paper?
From: Larry Colen I've got no idea what they mean by lustre. Anybody know what the differences are? Which is better? -- Larry Colen l...@red4est.com sent from i4est I expect lustre is approximately the same finish as luster photo paper ~ semi-gloss. I think the PDML Annual was printed on lustre if you need a sample for comparison. At least the copy I have appears to be. It's not a matter of which is better, but of which you prefer. -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List PDML@pdml.net http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
