signing off
I'm signing off PEN-L for the spring, since I'll be on leave, and it's a bother to download large numbers of e-mail messages on my college's web-based mail server. If anyone needs to reach me for any reason, you can still send mail to me individually. Bon voyage, moi. Peter
[PEN-L:9864] Tom Walker signing off
Sometime around the middle of August the knowware email address will expire. In the future, I can be reached at [EMAIL PROTECTED] I'm also cutting out list activity because of repetitive stress pain and the need to focus my efforts on my "lump of labor" chapter for a book on time, overwork and underemployment due to be published by Routledge in late 2000. Thanks to pen-l subscribers for the stimulating conversations over the years and thanks especially to Michael Perelman for maintaining the list. I'll be dropping in to have a look at the archives from time to time. address: #111 - 1035 Pacific Street Vancouver, B.C. V6E 4G7 telephone: (604) 669-3286 email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] web: http://www.vcn.bc.ca/timework/worksite.htm regards, Tom Walker http://www.vcn.bc.ca/timework/worksite.htm
[PEN-L:1917] happy new year and signing off for awhile
Friends, I am going to be away, teaching a class in economics to AFL-CIO folks at UMass-Amherst, from January 3 through Jan. 13. I am going to sign off these lists for that time, but I will be checking my email, so if anyone sends me a personal message, I will get it and respond. <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> is my address. I hope that everyone on these lists has a great new year. In friendship and solidarity, michael yates

I realize this is not the proper channel for signing off a list but I have tried to do so several times and was successful for about a month. However, suddenly I'm overwhelmed with mail again. Please take my name off this list! Kathy Werner
