Typing that sentence out made me wonder why we have so few notifications going
to the list these days. Today, I decided to look at the perl-sig account and
realized that it watches just 33 packages instead of the 2400+ packages it was
watching at one point or the 3000+ packages it should be watching right now.

Once I calm down, I will open a ticket to get this fixed.

[Bug 1813197] New: t/load-slides.t contains a non-free document

2020-03-13 Thread bugzilla
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1813197

Bug ID: 1813197
   Summary: t/load-slides.t contains a non-free document
   Product: Fedora
   Version: 30
Status: NEW
 Component: perl-YAML
  Assignee: p...@city-fan.org
  Reporter: ppi...@redhat.com
QA Contact: extras...@fedoraproject.org
CC: p...@city-fan.org, perl-devel@lists.fedoraproject.org,
st...@silug.org
  Target Milestone: ---
   Link ID: Github ingydotnet/yaml-pm/issues/219
Classification: Fedora

All perl-YAML sources packages (perl-YAML-1.28-1.fc30, perl-YAML-1.29-4.fc31,
perl-YAML-1.30-1.fc32) contain t/load-slides.t test whose part has this
license:

Copyright © 2001 Brian Ingerson, Clark
Evans & Oren Ben-Kiki, all rights
reserved. This document may be freely
copied provided that it is not modified.

This license does not allow modifications and thus is not allowed in Fedora.
Upstream did not provide any
reply.

I recommend repackaging the source archive without the t/load-slides.t file.
