Couldn't be rebuilt for Perl 5.32 due to incompatibility with recent
Devel::Declare (#1832729).

Upstream looks pretty dead so unless a fix turns up by not too long after
branching for F-33, I'll have to retire this package.

Hello,

Please note that this comment was generated automatically. If you feel that
this output has mistakes, please contact me via email
(ignatenkobr...@fedoraproject.org).

Your package (perl-perl5i) Fails To Install in Fedora 33:

can't install perl-perl5i:
  - nothing provides perl(:MODULE_COMPAT_5.30.1) needed by
perl-perl5i-2.13.2-14.fc33.x86_64

If you know about this problem and are planning on fixing it, please
acknowledge so by setting the bug status to ASSIGNED. If you don't have time to
maintain this package, consider orphaning it, so maintainers of dependent
packages realize the problem.

If you don't react accordingly to the policy for FTBFS/FTI bugs

I have a build failure[1] of my pakckage, it seems that perl-constant won't
install on rawhide now. I think it is due to a perl upgrade.[2]

Install failure message:
nothing provides perl(:MODULE_COMPAT_5.30.1) needed by
perl-constant-1.33-441.fc32.noarch

I think you need to rebuild this.

Re: Perl 5.32 upgrade

2020-06-29 Thread Jitka Plesnikova

Hello,

Perl 5.32 was released on June 20 2020 and Perl 5.32 change was
approved by FESCo [1].

I have required `f33-perl' build-root for this purpose [2] and it was
created.

I will start the rebuild on Monday afternoon and you can be notified
via mail

about commits/builds in next days.

Please do not build anything into `f32-perl'. Boot-strapping core modules
is very peculiar. I also track all changes. You can do your upgrades into
rawhide freely in parallel.

You can check status on Perl 5.32 change page [3]

[2]https://pagure.io/releng/issue/9528
[3]https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Changes/perl5.32#Current_Status

We have successfully built all packages except 13 of them. I requested to
merge f33-perl tag back into f33 tag [1] recently. rel-engs merged it to
f33-pending.
It takes some time to get all builds from f33-pending to f33, you can check the
status [2].
Then Perl 5.32.0 will become available in Fedora 33.

If you built your Perl package in the mean time, you would have to rebuild your
package
after the merge again.

Jitka

Adrian Offerman changed:

Description of problem:

The comment line generated with the DKIM record shows an 'i=' (identifier) tag,
while this should be the 's=' (selector) tag.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

2.12.0

How reproducible:

set up a DKIM key pair in the configuration and run the command:
  amavisd -c /etc/amavisd/amavisd.conf showkeys

the first line of a/each DKIM record is a command line, now saying something
like this:
  ; key#27 4096 bits, i=dkim20191228, d=example.com,
  /etc/amavisd/example.com.dkim20191228.pem
this should be:
  ; key#27 4096 bits, s=dkim20191228, d=example.com,
  /etc/amavisd/example.com.dkim20191228.pem

Additional info:

Since this is only a comment line providing info on the actual record that
follows, there's no harm done, other than suggesting that this is the
identifier rather than the selector tag.

the first line of a/each DKIM record is a command line, now saying something
like this:
  ; key#27 4096 bits, i=dkim20191228, d=example.com,
  /etc/amavisd/example.com.dkim20191228.pem
this should be:
  ; key#27 4096 bits, s=dkim20191228, d=example.com,
  /etc/amavisd/example.com.dkim20191228.pem

Additional info:

Since this is only a comment line providing info on the actual record that
follows, there's no harm done, other than suggesting that this is the
identifier rather than the selector tag.
