Re: Perl 5.32 upgrade
On 6/21/20 9:04 PM, Jitka Plesnikova wrote: Hello, Perl 5.32 was released on June 20 2020 and Perl 5.32 change was approved by FESCo [1]. I have required `f33-perl' build-root for this purpose [2] and it was created. I will start the rebuild on Monday afternoon and you can be notified via mail about commits/builds in next days. Please do not build anything into `f32-perl'. Boot-strapping core modules is very peculiar. I also track all changes. You can do your upgrades into rawhide freely in parallel. You can check status on Perl 5.32 change page [3] Regards, Jitka Plesnikova [1]https://pagure.io/fesco/issue/2376 [2]https://pagure.io/releng/issue/9528 [3]https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Changes/perl5.32#Current_Status We have successfully built all packages except 13 of them. I requested to merge f33-perl tag back into f33 tag [1] recently. rel-engs merged it to f33-pending. It takes some time to get all builds from f33-pending to f33, you can check the status [2]. Then Perl 5.32.0 will become available in Fedora 33. If you built your Perl package in the mean time, you would have to rebuild your package after the merge again.
